This week in my tutorial it was my time to do my group presentation! My group explored the topic of 'technology through the ages' and I thought this was a pretty interesting topic to have because it is very relevant to our lives today, we use SO much technology and may not even know or realise when we are using a piece of technology. I personally went further into the area of how technology is incorporated into education and how it has progressed over time. Here is a little snapshot of what our presentation looked like! :)
The other members in my group, Briar-Rose and Marie, talking about how technology has been integrated into communication and health care/hospitals. Overall I think the presentation went quite well and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
In the lecture this week Jenny focused a lot on worm farms and I had no idea how good they were for our environment! Not only is it a good place for the worms but we get awesome things out of it too! One resource we can get out of having a worm farm is 'worm juice', and while that doesn't sound all that appealing it contains living organisms! These can do a number of helpful things for our earth. I've attached a picture below of the cycle living organisms can create that Jenny showed us in her lecture.

Overall I really enjoyed this week of science because I learnt about so many useful things I can teach to my students of the future, teaching them about how to be sustainable and caring towards this planet we live on.
